Wild History and Whisky Tours are fascinating and unique. We take a holistic look at the history and environment that make up the beautiful regions of Aberdeenshire, Royal Deeside and Speyside, whilst enjoying some excellent tours and tastings at selected whisky distilleries that incorporate the local ‘tale’.
We concentrate on places slightly off the beaten track that encapsulate the local story, engaging with local people and businesses, providing insightful and unique visitor experiences. Each tour is themed to tell a story, ranging from the mystery of the recumbent stone circles that are peculiar to the region, to the rise of the Scottish castle, to the fall of the Jacobites. We’ll find out along the way how the landscape and its communities have been fashioned by this often turbulent and captivating history.
